Synergy 10 - Special Edition

On the occasion of the EU Slovenian presidency, the "IDABC and Beyond" Conference was held on 11-13 February in Brdo, Slovenia. With this regard, this Synergy special issue is oriented in the themes discussed during this Conference and the conclusions drawn.
It hosts dedicated articles to the progress made in IDABC projects, such as eID and eSignature and the problems still encountered in those fields as well as remarks made for the future of the IDABC programme, coming to a close at the end of 2009.
