IDABC 5th CIRCABC - IPM Conference 2008
CIRCABC - IPM
    

The CIRCABC and IPM Conference brought together all parties that are interested in the further development of CIRCABC (Communication and Information Resource Centre for Administrations, Businesses and Citizens) and IPM (Interactive Policy Making). The CIRCABC and IPM Conference took place on 17 April 2008 in Brussels.

Like its previous editions, the fifth CIRCABC–IPM Conference was intended to be a valuable forum for discussing current issues and future perspectives of CIRCABC and IPM in consolidating the community of CIRCABC-IPM stakeholders. It was organised by the Directorate-General for Informatics of the European Commission.
 
The conference took place on 17 April 2008, from 10:00 to 17:30, at the following venue:

Mr. Henrik Hololei, Head of Cabinet of Vice President Siim Kallas, addressed the Conference.
 
The main focus of this conference was the presentation of CIRCABC 1.0 OSS and IPM 2.1.1 OSS. In the spirit of Open Source projects, current uses of CIRCABC and IPM were presented, and requirements for future functional enhancements were investigated.

The event had been designed in particular for IDABC PEGSCO members, IDABC PEGSCO Technical Working Group members, CIRCA Licensees, IPM Licensees and experts group members, IRMs and CIRCA administrators.
