Application e-Taxes supports filling-in and secure filing of tax forms – list of currently supported forms is published on application web page. The whole process consists of filling-in a form, validation of data, filing a form by digital signing and timestamping it. The application also allows taxpayers to calculate the amount of their tax and import or export their data.
Authentication and digital signature are based on qualified digital certificates. The system of mandating integrated within the application allows tax payer to mandate a user for filing tax forms. Each user (end user or mandated user) must register before the first usage of the application.
All forms and e-services covering different life events within a single portal:
tax, social security, economy, employment, justice, education, transportation, environment, etc.
Any public institution can use the portal to publish and support for forms and life events

The portal enables publishing of different forms with the use of digital signatures. The taxes connected to the submissions of forms are paid via e-payment, which supports the use of mobile phones, e-banking and credit cards. During the process of submission of a form the user can decide for e-serving of the documents produced by public institution (described in sec. 3.2 ).
Application EPOS is a cornerstone of a centralized information system of Slovene Customs. It supports collecting and controlling of different customs declarations. It enables on-line communication between all members of the process: reporting units of companies, accredited companies and companies that offer commercial programming tools for reporting customs data. The system is a central module that accepts declarations, verifies digitally signed messages and routes them according to their content to a dedicated application. It also digitally signs replies to received data. Currently there are 5 back-end applications that support different customs procedures and (will) make use of the EPOS application:
• SICIS (Slovene Customs Information System): the application is intended for receiving customs declarations and sending replies; at the beginning it will support only simple declarations but later other kinds of declarations, too; it will be operational from 1.1.2007, • NCTS (New Computerised Transit System): the NCTS application has been developed to allow transit declarations to be done electronically in compliance with the European regulatory framework; the application is in development phase, • AES (Automated Export System): the application is in specification phase, • AIS (Automated Import System): the application is in specification phase, • EMCS (Excise Movement and Controlling System): the application is in specification phase.

Application Intrastat supports collecting and controlling of Intrastat data. It enables on-line communication between all members of the process: reporting units of companies, accredited companies and companies that offer commercial programming tools for reporting Intrastat data.
Authentication and digital signature are based on qualified digital certificates. Each user (reporting unit or accredited company) must register before the first usage of the application.
One-Stop-Shop portal enables a natural person to register his/her business activity in the Business Register and transfers person’s tax data to the Tax Administration. At the same time the user is able to register his and his under-aged children’s health insurance.
Besides business registration other procedures can be performed through the portal: • business data changes (written to Business Register), • deregistration of business activity, • application for other user’s data from Business Register.
The resolution on business registration can be delivered electronically.
Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Related Services (AJPES) is accredited for management and publishing of annual reports data. These reports include data on performed business and financial situation of a single business entity. The Agency collects data with two intensions: • to enable public access to these data, • to carry out statistical and analytical researches (for state statistics).
The Agency prepares and manages databases of annual reports for several years. Users can obtain collected data on an individual basis in certain range and content according to Slovene legislation on information availability; complete, unlimited data are available only on an aggregate level (i.e. on a state level, for all business activities or statistical regions).
Business entities fill-in the corresponding form and file it to the Agency electronically through the Agency’s web portal. Following types of business entities can report business data through the application: • companies, • natural persons doing business activities, • societies and other non-profit organizations, • public institutions.
Structured data can be imported in XML format and unstructured data in PDF or TIFF format.
Digital signature is based on qualified digital certificates. Each user must register before the first usage of the application.
Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Related Services (AJPES) collects and manages data on statuses, transactions and value changes of debits and credits for bigger companies that are obliged to regularly file reports on their financial situation. Collected data are available on an aggregate level for all economy sectors and financial instruments. These data represent a basis for an important macroeconomic statistics, whereas financial accounts are basic tool for analyzing financial streams between different domestic economy sectors and between domestic sectors and foreign economies.
Companies fill-in the corresponding form and file it to the Agency electronically through the Agency’s web portal.
Digital signature is based on qualified digital certificates. The system of mandating integrated within the application allows accountable person of company to mandate a user to report financial data. Each user (end user or mandated user) must register before the first usage of the application.
Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Related Services (AJPES) collects and manages data on paid salaries and annual reimbursements for all business entities in Slovenia to carry out statistical researches and to control respecting of legal basis on salary policy. There are different forms available depending on business entity type and reporting data type.
Business entities fill-in the corresponding form and file it to the Agency electronically through the Agency’s web portal. Following types of business entities can report salary data through the application: • companies, • societies, • public institutions.
Digital signature is based on qualified digital certificates. Each user must register before the first usage of the application.
The web application supports registrations for multilateral compensation. Users are business entities - debtors that are in business relationship with the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Related Services (AJPES). They enter data on their creditors and amounts of corresponding debts which they want to include into compensation. Compensation is performed through compensation chains for amounts registered from two or more users. Compensation chains are optimized to achieve maximal compensated amounts.

The system of mandating integrated within the application allows accountable person of business entity to mandate a user to register compensations. Each user (end user or mandated user) must register before the first usage of the application.
Web application (part of IS on waste management) will be used for data collection from annual and other reports, informatization of administrative processes (licensing, permits, registrations). Digital certificates will be used for authentication and signing documents. Web application will have following modules:
• module for administration data for users, firms, locations, activities… • module for annual reports on waste management • module for other reports designed for waste transports • module for input and receiving data from application forms and for issuing permits, licences etc. • module for creating internal reports, queries, analysis and statistic reports
Introduction of the new generation of health insurance card (HIC) for the insured persons and new generation of health professional card (HPC) for the professionals in health care and health insurance. HPC will carry qualified digital certificate for the on-line access to the health insurance data.
Development of infrastructure for the on-line access.
Development of the e-prescription prototype solution.

The application will provide a basis for a centralized information system of the Agency for Agricultural Markets and Rural Development. It will support secure filing of data of a different kind i.e. applications for direct payments. The system will be a central module that will accept filed data, verify digital signatures and route messages according to their content to a dedicated application. It will also digitally sign replies to received data. There are 5 modules of centralized system:
• main portal: all back-end applications will be connected through this portal; it will be used for user authentication, too, • digital signature: this module will be installed locally and will enable users to digitally sign web forms, • user module: it will support user identification and authorization, • web administration module: it is based on user module functionalities and will be used for web administration of users, • e-archive: all filed documents will be stored in this module; it will also take care for digitally signing and timestamping of received documents.
Authentication and digital signature will base on qualified digital certificates. The system of mandating integrated within the application will allow farm owner to mandate a user for filing his/her forms. Each user (end user or mandated user) will have to register before the first usage of the application.
Application ADNS is intended for animal diseases control in Slovenia. It allows complete tracking of samples from their preparation to delivery to the laboratory: time and place of sample origin, time of its delivery to the laboratory and its state, results of analyses performed…
Based on collected data risk analyses are preformed and the data are also sent to the EU Commission. Application helps in supervising expenses and managing quality of outsourced activities, too.
The application supports procedures for issuing and managing digital certificates that can be obtained from the Certification Authority SIGEN-CA. SIGEN-CA is part of the trust-service provider at the Ministry of Public Administration (MPA) and issues qualified digital certificates to the public.
Currently the application is available only to RA staff and supports three types of forms: for certificate issuance, revocation and recovery. Each user who wants to file a form can do this at the registration authority (administrative units, consulates, tax offices). The clerk enters the data about the user in the application and at the end of the process digitally signs them using the certificate issued by SIGOV-CA (also part of the trust-service provider at the MPA).
Authentication and digital signature are based on qualified digital certificates issued by trust-service provider at the MPA. Soon the application will be available also to end-users, who will be able to file forms for revocation and renewal of their certificates.
Besides filing forms the application supports also plenty of other certificate management functions, however the digital signature isn’t used for them.
The application consists of several modules: - RA for natural persons, - RA for legal persons, - back-end module, - web portal (development phase).
