The Lomake.fi public sector online forms service makes it easier for citizens, companies and organisations to conduct electronic transactions with state and local authorities and other organisations participating in the service. The service contains two types of forms: web forms, which are filled in and submitted online, and forms to be printed out and sent by post. Certain web forms require an electronic signature. For a successfully completed web form transaction, the service provides a receipt, which shows the date and time of the dispatch and the data submitted. The printable forms are in Word and PDF formats, and users can retrieve them from the service for printing out. When completed, the forms must be sent to the recipient by post.
