USENET
A worldwide network of newsgroups (special interest groups) not on the Internet but often available via networked computer.

URL
Uniform (or Universal) Resource Locator. A unique identifier of a page which is the standard address of files on the Web (for example http://ec.europa.eu/archives/ISPO/ida/). The components of an URL are: protocol // domain : port / path / filename.

USERS SESSION
A single visit by a user to a particular Web site, which may be a repeat visit or a first-time visit. The measure provides the most useful and reliable way of gauging the volume of traffic to a site.
