Model Requirements for the Management of Electronic Records - MoReq2

To maintain the status achieved over the past five years as well as its wide use across the EU, MoReq has to be up-to-date with new standards and best practice. Given that MoReq is used across Europe, it is essential that it has a certain degree of flexibility to take account, for instance, of different legal requirements with regard to records management, various records management traditions and multiple needs. MoReq2 will therefore be developed as a modular specification that can be tailored to various environments whereby the base module will contain the minimum necessary to provide credible electronic records management.
